ESPN's John Sutcliffe speaks to Mexico's Juan Carlos Osorio, who hopes Mexico can be the protagonists against South Korea.

The father of Mexico World Cup star Hirving "Chucky" Lozano has told ESPN his son's future will become clear after the tournament amid reported interest from Barcelona.

Lozano, 22, made headlines last weekend when he scored the only goal of the game as Mexico upset world champions Germany.

Fenerbahce have appointed former PSV Eindhoven manager Phillip Cocu as their new coach on a three-year deal after parting ways with Aykut Kocaman earlier this week, the Turkish club said on Friday.

In a statement on Fenerbahce's website, Cocu said he was "very hopeful" about the vision of the team and its new chairman, businessman Ali Koc.

"I have to say I am very impressed with the club's plans for the near future," Cocu said.

PSV confirmed the move in a separate statement on its own website.

Mexico's star youngster Hirving Lozano still learning to channel, control emotions on pitch

A family with a view of Liverpool's training ground helped put Juan Carlos Osorio on the path to becoming a manager.
Herculez Gomez sheds light on how an after-hours party incident in Mexico City involving members of the national team has affected El Tri's World Cup preparations.

You'll forgive Hirving Lozano if he plays with a chip on his shoulder.

"Chucky" -- a nickname based on the fictional slasher villain that meets his approval -- is far from the tacos al pastor of his native Mexico; he finds the food in Holland lacking variety and flavor. His young family has had a tough time adjusting to life in Europe, the Dutch culture in particular, when he's at practice or his club is away.

That's to say nothing of the relentless sticks, stones and words hurled his way courtesy...

Mexico's Hirving Lozano good fit for Everton, according to PSV staff

There's work to be done before the season begins, but ESPN FC's Shaka Hislop explains why Marco Silva ticks all the right boxes for Everton.

MEXICO CITY -- PSV Eindhoven winger and Mexico international Hirving Lozano is not long for the Eredivisie, at least according to those who watched him last season. A good World Cup could be the catalyst for a major transfer fee, possibly to the Premier League.

Lozano moved from Liga MX outfit Pachuca to PSV in the summer of 2017, signing a six-year contract at the Dutch giants. He notched 17 goals in 29 league matches for PSV, finishing the season as their top scorer as PSV won the league title.

Mexico's Hirving Lozano should consider PSV Eindhoven stay - Dennis te Kloese

Progressing from the last six World Cup group stages, Mexico have no issues starting the tournament well, but can they progress in the knockout stages in Russia?
After Mexico's preliminary World Cup roster was announced, Herc Gomez talks about which players he wouldn't take to Russia.

LOS ANGELES -- Mexico winger Hirving Lozano is being touted as one of the breakout stars at the World Cup this summer, but El Tri director of national teams Dennis te Kloese doesn't believe the 22-year-old should move on from club side PSV Eindhoven too soon.

Lozano signed for the Dutch champions from Pachuca in July 2017 and netted 17 goals in 29 games in his debut season in the Eredivisie, sparking speculation that he could look for a transfer to a bigger league after the World Cup.
