The New York Red Bulls settled for a 2-2 draw with the Philadelphia Union after a controversial stoppage time penalty decision, which the Union's Sebastien Le Toux thundered home.

CHESTER, Pa. -- Sebastian Le Toux scored a penalty in stoppage time to lift the Philadelphia Union to a 2-2 tie with the New York Red Bulls on Saturday.

In the second extra minute, Ibrahim Sekagya was called for a questionable tackle in the box and Le Toux beat Luis Robles for the score.

Philadelphia (10-9-9) rallied after New York (9-9-10) jumped to a 2-0 lead.

In the 37th minute, Peguy Luyindula was pulled down in the box by Ethan White and converted the penalty kick. Three minutes later, Thierry...

Conor Casey of the Philadelphia Union scored two unanswered goals in the first-half to secure victory for the Union over a troubled Toronto FC.

Philadelphia Union CEO Nick Sakiewicz confirmed that former Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen is a candidate to be the club's next head coach, but said that no final decision has been made about the position.

Philadelphia has been without a permanent head coach since parting ways with John Hackworth on June 10 following a 3-7-6 start to the league season. Assistant coach Jim Curtin has assumed the head coaching duties since that time, leading the club to a 9-2-4 record in all competitions, as...
