Sam Kerr says she's excited to share the club she'll be joining as she looks to challenge herself in Europe.
Sam Kerr says she's proud of the "amazing" deal that's provided equal pay for the women and men's Australian teams.

Sam Kerr is remaining coy about her club future amid rumours that a deal has been struck with Chelsea, preferring to focus on a much-needed holiday instead.

"You will see very soon," she said after Australia's 1-0 win against Chile in a friendly in Adelaide on Tuesday night.

"Honestly, I'm just excited for it to all to get out there for everyone to see."

Kerr declined to detail an announcement time-frame, instead preferring to sights set on a holiday.

Newcastle Jets are still without a win in the A-League season after drawing with Perth 1-1 at McDonald Jones Stadium.

In a spirited showing on Saturday in front of a home crowd of 8,038 fans, the Jets led 1-0 and looked set for their first win of the season before Glory's Diego Castro popped up late on to dash their hopes. Kicking the intensity up a notch, Glory defender Alex Grant was sent off in the 87th minute for his second yellow card, less than a minute after Perth levelled the scores at 1-1.
