New York City FC stadium part of Bronx development project - report

New York City FC could soon have a new stadium on the South Bronx waterfront, according to a report in urban development website New York YIMBY.

The report said a 26,000-seat MLS stadium is part of a $700 million proposal called Harlem River Yards that was submitted to the city, with a tentative completion date of 2022.

New York City FC's on-loan midfielder Yangel Herrera has said he is "ready for Europe," suggesting he could soon leave MLS.
