Luton have captain Steve McNulty back in their ranks for the visit of Newport.

McNulty missed the FA Cup win over Bury in midweek through suspension but even though the Hatters kept a clean sheet in the second round replay, the burly central defender is expected to go straight back into the starting line-up on Saturday.

Midfielder Luke Rooney will also be fit to face the Exiles despite suffering badly from cramp in the closing stages against Bury.

Paul Benson (broken leg), Luke Guttridge (foot), Alex...

Luton progressed to the FA Cup third round after a 1-0 replay win over fellow League Two side Bury at Kenilworth Road.

Winger Luke Rooney scored the only goal moments after half-time when his cross deceived keeper Shwan Jalal and went straight into the bottom corner.

A quiet opening period saw Bury's Danny Mayor thump a half volley wide while Luton defender Fraser Franks' deflected header hit the outside of a post and went behind.

Town were dangerous from free-kicks at times, Luke Wilkinson nodding...

Morecambe maintained their good run of form against the league's top sides with a convincing 3-0 win over 10-man Luton.

Two first half goals from Kevin Ellison and Mark Hughes, and a red card for visiting skipper Steve McNulty gave Morecambe, who were without ill boss Jim Bentley, a fine three points.

Morecambe took the lead in the 16th minute after a well worked free-kick. Jamie Devitt drilled the ball to the far post, Alex Kenyon headed back across goal and Ellison drilled the ball into the bottom...

Chelsea adopt living wage for staff

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was pleased with the attitude of his team and believes they deserved their 3-1 win over Sporting Lisbon.

Chelsea have become the first Premier League club to adopt the living wage.

The Premier League leaders on Thursday announced they had been accredited by the Living Wage Foundation and, from January, will pay all directly employed members of staff the living wage as a minimum -- currently 9.15 pounds an hour in London or 7.85 pounds an hour outside of the capital.

The national minimum wage is 6.50 pounds an hour, but the living wage is an hourly rate set independently and updated annually, calculated...

Substitute Danny Nardiello struck in stoppage time to earn Bury a 1-1 draw in their FA Cup second-round tie against Luton.

Mark Cullen pounced on Bury goalkeeper Rob Lainton's error to break the deadlock for Luton in the 51st minute, but the hosts managed to force a replay as the clock ticked down.

Despite their poor form, Bury made a positive start with Danny Mayor and Danny Rose both going close.

A long ball then put Charlie Walker through on goal and although the Luton striker lobbed Lainton, it...
