Basement dwellers Lorient climbed off the bottom of the table with a 1-0 win over Lens.

Raphael Guerreiro scored the only goal of the game in the 22nd minute, but by that point Lens were already down to 10 men with Loic Landre having been sent off.

Lens now sit bottom of the table, with Lorient's third win of the campaign pushing them out of the drop zone.

Bordeaux moved up to third, level with on points with last season's Ligue 1 champions Paris St Germain after a 2-1 win at struggling Lens.

Yoann Touzghar reduced the arrears with a second-half penalty, but Bordeaux were worthy winners as they moved onto 24 points, with seven wins from 13 matches.

Talk coming into the match was centred around visiting boss...

Marseille re-established their four-point lead at the top of Ligue 1 with a 2-1 win at home to Lens on Sunday, but it was a little too close for comfort.

Nicolas N'Koulou put the hosts in front after 10 minutes, but struggling Lens hit back through Baptiste Guillaume after 31 minutes.

Florian Thauvin scored Marseille's second on the hour-mark, but any thoughts of seeing out the game comfortably were ended by a red card for Alaixys Romao with 13 minutes left.

The 10 men held on, though, to move clear...

Lens climbed off the bottom of the Ligue 1 table after claiming a 2-0 away win at Toulouse on Friday night.

Alharbi El Jadeyaoui opened the scoring for Antoine Kombouare's side in the 12th minute and Benjamin Bourigeaud doubled the advantage shortly before the half-hour mark to earn the club's third league win of the season.

The victory moved Lens out of the bottom three and into 14th place ahead of the rest of this weekend's fixtures, with Evian dropping down to join Guingamp and Caen in the basement.
