From Leicester to Bangkok: Heskey contemplates Asian swansong

Emile Heskey's new love affair with Thailand could see the former England and Liverpool striker make a playing comeback in the Thai Premier League. The 36-year-old was last week named as an ambassador to his hometown club, Leicester City, for their Thailand International Academy, which opens in January.

The English Premier League side are owned by King Power, a Thai duty-free retail group. Heskey was in Bangkok for the academy launch and to be a judge in a competition to recruit the best Thai teenage...

Ritchie De Laet extends Leicester City deal until 2018

Nigel Pearson explained his disappointment as Leicester City fell 2-0 to Southampton, but was pleased with his team's effort.

Ritchie De Laet has signed a new four-year contract extension to stay at Leicester City until 2018.

De Laet, 25, signed for the Foxes from Manchester United in 2012, and has made 97 appearances for the club having helped them achieve promotion to the Premier League last season.

The Belgian has started every one of Leicester's league games this term, and told the club's official website: "I'm so happy to sign a new deal here at...
