Fulham sign Iceland defender Ragnar Sigurdsson from Krasnodar

Ragnar Sigurdsson scored for Iceland against England earlier this summer.

Fulham have announced the signing of Iceland international defender Ragnar Sigurdsson.

The 30-year-old, who scored his country's opening goal in their shock victory over England in this summer's European Championship, joins from Krasnodar for an undisclosed fee.

He is unlikely to receive clearance in time to be involved in Wednesday's EFL Cup clash against Middlesbrough.

Aleksandr Kokorin was seen in footage at a party in Monaco after Russia's Euro 2016 exit.

Russian Sports Minister and President of the Russian Football Union (RFS) Vitaly Mutko says Aleksandr Kokorin was right to apologise after attending a party with Pavel Mamaev following the national team's group-stage exit from Euro 2016.

Video footage online appeared to show Kokorin and Mamaev in a Monaco nightclub, with waiters carrying dozens of bottles of champagne as the Russian anthem played.

Alexander Kokorin and Russia exited Euro 2016 in the group stage.

Two Russia players have been fined by their clubs over an ostentatious party following the national team's group stage exit from the European Championship.

Video posted online appeared to show forward Alexander Kokorin and midfielder Pavel Mamaev in a nightclub, with waiters carrying dozens of bottles of champagne, as the Russian anthem played.
