Asamoah Gyan has completed a move to Kayserispor, joining the Super Lig outfit on a two-year deal from Shanghai SIPG.

Gyan had previously been linked to another Turkish side -- Bursaspor -- but Kayserispor confirmed the deal on their official website on Wednesday in a signing that represents a significant coup for the Anatolian Star.

Portland Timbers sign DR Congo defender Larrys Mabiala

The Portland Timbers signed DR Congo international center-back Larrys Mabiala from Turkish club Kayserispor on Monday.

The 29-year-old will be able to play when the MLS secondary transfer window opens July 10. The Timbers used targeted allocation money to complete the deal.

Portland general manager Gavin Wilkinson said Mabiala would help replace the inured Gbenga Arokoyo, who tore his Achilles before the season began.

Larrys Mabiala will reportedly move to Portland from Kayserispor in Turkey.

The Portland Timbers have agreed a deal with former Paris Saint-Germain defender Larrys Mabiala, according to The Oregonian.

Mabiala, 29, will reportedly join up with the team next month and can make his MLS debut once the secondary transfer window opens on July 10.
