Owen Coyle and the Houston Dynamo have agreed to part ways after just one full season with the club.

The Houston Dynamo have announced that Owen Coyle will be leaving the team effective immediately.

Coyle, 49, took over from Dominic Kinnear following the Dynamo's 2014 campaign and managed just one full season with the club, finishing eighth in the Western Conference in 2015.

An absolute shellacking of NYCFC from their intra-city rivals, with Bradley Wright-Phillips and Dax McCarty each bagging a brace.

Bradley Wright-Phillips and Dax McCarty each scored twice and the New York Red Bulls routed New York City FC 7-0 on Saturday to tie the MLS record for largest margin of victory.

McCarty put away a header into the top-right corner, off a corner from Sacha Kjelstan, in the third minute, and Wright-Phillips added two goals -- the second coming on a bicycle kick in stoppage time -- as the Red Bulls (4-7-1) took a 3-0 lead into halftime.

Wright-Phillps, who was scoreless in his first seven matches this...

Sporting Kansas City had to come from behind, but their dominant attacking display earned the host three points against Orlando City.

Substitute Jacob Peterson scored on a diving header in the 79th minute and Sporting Kansas City beat Orlando City 2-1 on Sunday.

Peterson's goal came on a cross from Roger Espinoza from the right corner. Sporting KC dominated play with 34 shots, 13 on target. The victory broke a seven-game winless stretch.

Despite being outplayed, Orlando City scored first. On a corner kick in the 67th minute, Cyle Larin headed it from the far post back into the goal box. After a scramble, the ball ricocheted off...

LA Galaxy and Philadelphia Union draw; Colorado Rapids win again

The Union welcome a star studded Galaxy squad to Talen Energy Stadium with both teams looking to go top of the table.

Keegan Rosenberry scored his first MLS goal in the 63rd minute and the Philadelphia Union tied the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-2 on Wednesday night.

Los Angeles goalkeeper Dan Kennedy bobbled a header on a Philadelphia corner kick and Rosenberry put it in the back of the net.

Philadelphia ended a three-game losing streak against Los Angeles, having lost six of the nine career meetings with two draws.

The Union took a 1-0 lead in the 4th minute on Vincent Nogueira's second-effort goal. His initial shot...
