Hibernian were brought crashing back to earth following their Ibrox heroics last week as a brace from Rakish Bingham helped Hamilton claim a stunning 3-1 win at Easter Road.

Bingham's goal came either side of a strike from Louis Longridge as Accies ran riot during a stunning second-half display against the side who toppled Rangers seven days ago.

The victory could have been more handsome for the visitors, with Longridge also crashing a shot against the cross-bar.

Anthony Stokes did curl a late consolation...

Police probe online threats against Hibernian boss Neil Lennon

Neil Lennon's Hibernian beat Rangers 3-2 at Ibrox on Saturday.

Police are probing "threatening comments" made against Hibernian boss Neil Lennon having earlier received complaints about his conduct during a match against Rangers at the weekend.

Social media posts apparently show a user claiming he will shoot Lennon and adding he is "serious" about the threat.

A force spokeswoman said: "Police Scotland is aware of offensive and threatening comments that have been posted on social media concerning a named individual and inquiries are ongoing in connection with...

Hibernian came from behind to beat 10-man Rangers 3-2 in a pulsating but at times ill-tempered Scottish Premiership clash at Ibrox.

It was first meeting between the two clubs since the 2016 Scottish Cup final where David Gray scored a stoppage-time winner to give Hibs victory by the same scoreline, before a pitch invasion led to clashes and several arrests, and there was no little drama in this encounter.

Gers' Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos headed in a Daniel Candeias free-kick with just two...

Anthony Stokes marked his first start since returning to Hibernian with a double as the capital club booked their place in the quarter-final of the Betfred Cup with a 5-0 win over Ayr.

The Irishman kick-started his third stint at Easter Road when he nodded home a Danny Swanson corner from close range in the 19th minute.

Stokes turned provider when he slipped a fine through-ball for Simon Murray, who converted his ninth goal of the season in cool fashion.

Promoted Halifax's bubble burst slightly with a 2-0 opening day home defeat to Aldershot.

The Shaymen played it steadily in the opening stages of their return to the fifth tier, defending well and in depth. The Shots' Bobby-Joe Taylor however bent a 25-yard effort narrowly wide to signal the away side's intent.

Shamir Fenelon broke the deadlock for Gary Waddock's outfit on the hour, racing to intercept a flick-on by Scott Rendell. Having rounded Sam Johnson, he slotted nicely into an empty net.
