Guillermo Ochoa is eager to earn more playing time with Granada.

Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa is hoping for better fortune in his one-year loan at Granada after struggling for minutes at Malaga.

Ochoa starred for El Tri at the 2014 World Cup and signed with Malaga from Ligue 1 minnows Ajaccio in the aftermath, but he was swiftly relegated to the bench behind No. 1 Carlos Kameni.

The 31-year-old featured in just 13 matches last term and sealed a loan move to Granada last weekend.

Arsenal midfielder Jon Toral will spend the upcoming season on loan at Granada.

Watford have signed Nigeria under-20 international forward Isaac Success from Granada for a club record fee.

La Liga president Javier Tebas said there was no evidence of match-fixing at the time of the Granada vs. Las Palmas game.

La Liga team Las Palmas have strongly denied an accusation aired on Spanish radio that their 3-2 defeat at Granada late in the 2015-16 campaign was fixed.

Las Palmas were already safe when they went to a Granada that was already deep in troubleon April 30 and were 2-0 up inside 12 minutes, only for the home team to come back to win 3-2. Granada appoint Paco Jemez as new coach on three-year contract

Granada have signed Paco Jemez to a three-year coaching deal.

Former Rayo Vallecano boss Paco Jemez has become the first head coach hired by Granada's ambitious new Chinese owners.

The 46-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Primera Division club, who were sold to Chinese firm Link International Sports earlier this month.

A statement published on Granada's official website said Jemez -- recently in charge of relegated Rayo -- would be presented by his new employers on Wednesday.
