Gillingham substitute Antonio German scrambled a stoppage-time equaliser to earn his side a 1-1 draw at Bradford City.

Bradford's had the better of a goalless first half, their best chance falling to substitute midfielder Billy Knott in the 34th minute, when his goalbound shot from Jon Stead's cross was turned on to the post by Gills goalkeeper Stuart Nelson.

The Bantams deservedly went in front in the 56th minute thanks to an own goal from visitors' defender Leon Legge.

Cody McDonald's stoppage time goal gave Gillingham a hard-fought 3-2 victory 10-man Leyton Orient.

Their first league win in 10 games, earned in dramatic fashion, saw Peter Taylor's men climb out of the relegation zone.

Experienced Italian striker Gianvito Plasmati opened the scoring from the penalty spot with his first goal for the visitors in the 48th minute.

However, Gills defender Leon Legge headed in from Jake Hessenthaler's free-kick shortly before the hour to level the tie, and the pair combined...

A late goal from skipper Doug Loft put 10-man Gillingham into the Southern Section semi-final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with a 2-1 victory over Crawley at the Checkatrade.com stadium.

An Izale McLeod penalty put the hosts ahead and Gillingham defender Joe Martin received a straight red card before substitute Jermaine McGlashan levelled in the 68th minute.

Crawley striker McLeod broke the deadlock on 21 minutes with his eighth goal of the season from the penalty spot.

Greg Cunningham and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas both found the net as Bristol City beat Gillingham 2-1 in an all-League One FA Cup first round clash to heap further pressure on Gills boss Peter Taylor.

Cunningham headed home just before half time while Emmanuel-Thomas sealed the deal 13 minutes from time as Taylor, who admitted before kick-off that he would understand if the sack came, lost again.

Danny Kedwell pulled one back for Gillingham from the spot four minutes after Emmanuel-Thomas' effort after Aden...

Tom Hitchock's early goal was enough to see Fleetwood defeat Gillingham 1-0 at Highbury.

The on-loan MK Dons strikers could not have asked for a better start to his stint with the Cod Army. Hitchock only arrived on Friday afternoon but he was on the scoresheet within three minutes.

Stephen Bywater's sloppy punch did not make it out of the Gills box, and Hitchcock struck with a composed finish to drive the ball home.

Fleetwood could have added to their tally. Stephen Dobbie almost set up Gareth Evans...
