Fenerbahce vs. Galatasaray: Bruma and Lens the men to watch

Fenerbahce face Galatasaray on Sunday in fifth, two points behind their bitter rivals.

Fenerbahce host bitter rivals Galatasaray at the Sukru Saracoglu on Sunday; here are five things to watch for:

1. Bruma, the new Gala star

Galatasaray's young Portuguese winger was an unwanted man at the end of last season after failing to impress during his loan spell at Real Sociedad and was at risk of being offloaded this summer for less than the £8.5 million they signed him for from Sporting Lisbon back in 2013.

However, the winger has turned over a new leaf this season under the stewardship...

Lassana Diarra's demands led to deal breaking down - Galatasaray chief

Lassana Diarra
Lassana Diarra has rebuilt his career at Marseille after spending a year without a club.

Galatasaray have claimed that the club cooled their interest in a summer move for Lassana Diarra due to the Marseille midfielder's extravagant wage demands.

Galatasaray complete Nigel de Jong signing from LA Galaxy

Two MLS Cup Playoffs rivals, the LA Galaxy and Vancouver Whitecaps played out a 0-0 draw in Los Angeles.

A Major League Soccer source told ESPN FC earlier this week that it was "quite likely" that a deal would go through before the close of the transfer window.

And Galatasaray confirmed news of the move for De Jong, who joined Galaxy from AC Milan just prior to the 2016 season, via their official Twitter account on Thursday.

Marseille's Lassana Diarra not being eyed by Monaco amid Galatasaray links

Lassana Diarra made 26 Ligue 1 appearances last season.

Marseille captain Lassana Diarra could join Galatasaray after Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev said that his club had turned down the chance to sign the midfielder.

Diarra, 31, wants to leave Marseille and L'Equipe reported on Wednesday that he had been involved in lengthy negotiations with Turkish side Galatasaray over a three-year deal.

Speaking on RMC radio on Tuesday evening, Vasilyev said Monaco had previously been sounded out about potential interest in the France international.

"We had...
