David Unsworth unworried over timeframe with regard to Everton job

The FC guys debate if Everton's Oumar Niasse should be banned after he was charged with diving against Crystal Palace.

David Unsworth has emphasised he does not need a timeframe to be put on his stint as Everton's caretaker manager.

Thursday's Europa League home clash with Atalanta will be the Toffees' sixth game since Unsworth was placed in temporary charge following Ronald Koeman's sacking on October 23.

It emerged last week that Everton had had overtures for Watford boss Marco Silva rejected.

And when asked on Wednesday if he was aware of any update with regard to the managerial situation, Unsworth -- who has...

Everton looking to beat Arsenal to Charlton defender Ezri Konsa - sources

David Unsworth hails the effort of his Everton players after they fought back to earn a draw at Crystal Palace.

Everton are planning a January swoop for Charlton's Ezri Konsa as they look to move ahead of Arsenal for the defender, sources close to the League One club have told ESPN FC.

Charlton are resigned to losing Konsa when the transfer window reopens in January with a number of Premier League clubs on his trail.

Arsenal have sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old on a regular basis this season, but Everton are aiming to beat their Premier League rivals to the defender's signature by making a bid for him...

Everton striker Oumar Niasse banned by FA for 'deception of match official'

Shaka Hislop and Stevie Nicol do not feel Everton's Oumar Niasse should be retroactively banned for diving versus Palace.
Roy Hodgson says that what he thinks Crystal Palace deserve in matches doesn't matter if they keep dropping points.

Oumar Niasse will serve a two-match ban after his appeal against a diving charge was rejected by the Football Association.

Everton striker Niasse becomes the first Premier League player to be hit with a retrospective suspension for simulation under the new law that kicked in at the start of this season.

He was charged by the FA on Tuesday after winning a controversial penalty in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace.

A statement from the governing body on Wednesday said: "Everton's Oumar Niasse...

Everton fined £26k by UEFA after supporter tries to hit Lyon player

David Unsworth hails the effort of his Everton players after they fought back to earn a draw at Crystal Palace.

Everton have been fined £26,600 by UEFA after a fan attempted to punch Lyon's Anthony Lopes while holding a child during last month's Europa League clash at Goodison Park.

A second-half melee sparked by Ashley Williams during Lyon's 2-1 victory on Oct. 19 saw a supporter in the Howard Kendall Gwladys Street End push goalkeeper Lopes in the head before hitting out at him again.

Everton announced the following day that the fan will be banned from their future games and, after opening disciplinary...

Everton boost as Yannick Bolasie back in training after knee injury

The FC guys debate if Everton's Oumar Niasse should be banned after he was charged with diving against Crystal Palace.

Yannick Bolasie trained with his Everton teammates on Wednesday as the winger stepped up his rehabilitation from a long-term knee injury.

The session at Finch Farm, ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash with Atalanta, saw Bolasie training with the senior squad for the first time since sustaining anterior cruciate ligament damage to his right knee on Dec. 4 last year.

Club captain Phil Jagielka and fellow defender Mason Holgate were notable absentees from the session, along with midfielder Morgan...
