A four-star second half from Inverness was too much for Dundee as they secured seventh spot.

Goals from Miles Storey, Danny Devine, Ross Draper and Richie Foran earned a 4-0 win which ensured Caley Thistle would finish best of the rest in the Ladbrokes Premiership and earn an extra £53,000 in prize money.

All the goals came after half-time following a predictably tame opening to an end-of-season encounter.

Both sides were unchanged from their respective midweek games, meaning no farewell appearances...

Kilmarnock started their play-off preparations with a decent 1-1 draw with Dundee at Dens Park.

The visitors looked like they would struggle to stay with the Dark Blues at times during the first half but all Paul Hartley's men had to show was Rory Loy's headed opener.

And Killie got their reward for a much improved second-half display when Conrad Balatoni nodded home the equaliser.

Lee Clark's Ayrshire outfit now have one final Ladbrokes Premiership fixture to fulfil against Dundee United on Saturday...

Hamilton ensured they will not face a Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership play-off with a vital 1-0 win over Dundee at Dens Park.

Martin Canning's side secured victory thanks to Carlton Morris' eighth minute winner which moved them seven points above second-bottom Kilmarnock with two games left.

It could have been a bit more relaxed for the Lanarkshire club had Eamonn Brophy's 47th minute strike counted, but it was knocked off for offside having previously been awarded.

However, it was the three points which...

Paatelainen branded his team ``too soft'' after their fate was sealed.

The Finn told BT Sport: ``When you analyse our matches and the goals we concede, the set-piece goals, taking responsibility, making sure my man doesn't do anything, making sure nothing happens in your area, just simply we are not disciplined enough, we are not ruthless enough, we are not hard enough. Too soft.

``Today is a great example. two set-piece goals - that has been the story all the way.''

Paatelainen also bemoaned his team's...

Celtic put only two players on PFA Scotland team of the year

Leigh Griffiths is one of only two players from Celtic named to the Premiership team of the year.

Dundee and Aberdeen both have more players in the PFA Scotland team of the year than Celtic.

Only Kieran Tierney and Leigh Griffiths have made the Premiership XI from the defending champions.

Dundee goalkeeper Scott Bain joins player-of-the-year candidates Greg Stewart and Kane Hemmings among the Dens Park ranks.

Aberdeen provide the entire three-man midfield through Graeme Shinnie, Jonny Hayes and Kenny McLean plus defender Shay Logan.

The centre-backs come from Hearts (Alim Ozturk) and Ross County...
