Hamilton will take on Dundee United in the Ladbrokes Premiership play-off following a thumping 4-0 win over Dundee at the SuperSeal Stadium.

The Lanarkshire outfit started the last league game of the season one point above bottom side Inverness but striker Rakish Bingham and defender Ioannis Skondras scored in a two-minute spell midway through the first half to ease the nerves.

Winger Dougie Imrie scored from the penalty spot in the 56th minute and midfielder Ali Crawford drove in a fourth to secure...

Inverness' bid to avoid automatic relegation from the Ladbrokes Premiership will go to the last day following their 2-0 win over Dundee at Dens Park.

Two goals in the first 10 minutes from forwards Billy McKay and Alex Fisher saw off an uninspiring home side and took Richie Foran's men to within one point of Hamilton in the relegation play-off spot.

The Highlanders, whose goal difference is five worse than Accies, host Motherwell on Saturday with Hamilton at home to Dundee in what will be a nerve-shredding...

Ross County secured their survival as they halted Dundee's winning streak under Neil McCann with a hard-fought 1-1 draw in the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership at Dens Park.

Jim McIntyre's side only needed a point and picked up just as Liam Boyce's fourth-minute opener put them ahead, only for home captain Darren O'Dea to equalise with a 76th-minute penalty.

It means County have erased any lingering threats about being dragged into a play-off while Dundee now find themselves five points ahead of second-bottom...

Marcus Haber handed Dundee another precious victory as the Dark Blues continued their revival under Neil McCann with a 1-0 win at Kilmarnock.

The Canadian grabbed his second goal in as many games to move the Dens Park outfit four points clear of the relegation play-off spot.

But the result will set Killie nerves jangling again as their lead over 11th-placed Motherwell is cut to six with three games to play.

Killie were first to threaten when Sean Longstaff fired straight at Scott Bain three minutes...

Neil McCann enjoyed a winning start to his Dundee reign as his side moved out of the Ladbrokes Premiership bottom two with a 3-2 victory at Motherwell.

Mark O'Hara and Marcus Haber scored either side of the break at Fir Park and the pair were both involved in the crucial third goal as O'Hara's header went in off the striker, to send Dundee above Motherwell and Hamilton in their first match since Paul Hartley was sacked.

Louis Moult and Chris Cadden both pulled goals back and Stephen Robinson's men...
