Dumbarton look for their first win of the season over Falkirk without David van Zanten who remains absent with a knee problem.

Scott Linton and Darren Petrie are injury doubts, with manager Ian Murray hoping that Stuart Findlay came through an appearance for Scotland Under-21s on Thursday unscathed.

Murray said: "We are not over the line in terms of safety, however winning this game would push us really close to it. We won at Livingston last weekend without playing at our best and we will not get away...

Garry Fleming's 88th-minute strike handed victory to Dumbarton as they came from behind to beat Livingston 2-1.

The hosts took the lead in the 14th minute when Craig Sives got on the end of Keaghan Jacobs' free-kick to nod the ball into the corner of Danny Rogers' net.

Livi had chances to extend their lead as the first half wore on, but they were unable to beat Rogers again.

The visitors levelled things up with 10 minutes left to play when Scott Agnew sent his free-kick into the back of Darren Jamieson's...

Four second-half goals secured champions-elect Hearts a sixth successive win by beating Dumbarton 4-0.

Substitute Billy King's late brace followed strikes by Osman Sow and Danny Wilson as the Jambos maintained their 17-point gap over rivals Hibernian at the top of the Scottish Championship.

Sam Nicholson and Sow both tested visiting goalkeeper Danny Rogers early on while Adam Eckersley and Callum Paterson blazed efforts over the crossbar.

Sow forced a stunning save from Rogers just before the half-hour...

Garry Fleming's first-half penalty was enough to secure a vital win for Dumbarton against Alloa as they moved clear of the relegation places.

Liam Buchanan should have put the visitors in front when he rounded Danny Rogers early on, but fired wide from a difficult angle.

On the stroke of half-time Kevin Cawley was tripped by Dylan Easton inside the penalty area and Fleming sent Craig McDowall the wrong way to put the hosts ahead.

Somehow the ball did not end up in Dumbarton's net when Rogers fumbled...

Dumbarton consolidated their position in seventh place after they were held to a goalless draw at home to 10-man Queen of South.

Sons goalkeeper Danny Rogers was called into action early on to keep out Lewis Kidd's shot at the back post.

Midfielder Ian McShane was unlucky to see his header bounce off the inside of the post before Rogers tipped over Mark Miller's long-range strike.

Rogers kept up his impressive form after the break when he denied McShane from close range.
