Toronto FC survive Rapids on Osorio's winner

After Toronto FC squandered an early two-goal lead, Jonathan Osorio got the go-ahead score in the 70th minute for a 3-2 victory over the visiting Colorado Rapids on Sunday.

Toronto (12-10-9, 45 points) is tied with D.C. United for fourth in the Eastern Conference with three games left.

Colorado (10-15-6, 36 points) had won in its first three games with former Toronto assistant Robin Fraser as head coach. The Rapids are seven points out of the Western Conference playoffs with three games remaining.

Robin Fraser has been named the next manager of the Colorado Rapids, the club announced on Sunday. 

Fraser, 52, takes over for Conor Casey, who has been managing the Rapids on an interim basis since the firing of Anthony Hudson back in May. Weeks after Hudson was let go, Fraser was first reported as the frontrunner for the Rapids' job.
