Two goals from Siriki Dembele helped steer Grimsby to a 3-2 victory over mid-table rivals Cheltenham.

The pacy winger proved too hot to handle for the Robins' defence and it took him just 15 minutes to open his tally, finding the bottom right-hand corner from a Paul Dixon cross.

Cheltenham rallied and were back on level terms in the 26th minute when Mohamed Eisa's cross picked out Harry Pell who guided his header beyond visiting keeper James McKeown.

But two goals in three minutes just before the break...

A brace from Tom Pope helped end Port Vale's run of 11 games without a win as they comfortably beat Cheltenham 3-1 at Vale Park.

The veteran striker's goals, which sandwiched Ben Whitfield's strike, earned the hosts their first win since the opening day.

Kevin Dawson's late goal was merely a consolation as the visitors suffered a first defeat in five.

The home side took the lead after 26 minutes when James Gibbons' cross from the right found an unmarked Pope who powered a header past Scott Flinders.

Cheltenham clinched a 2-1 victory over Swindon thanks to a stoppage-time strike from Danny Wright.

The hosts took the lead after 20 minutes when Harry Pell broke down the right wing before crossing for Brian Graham to slot home from close range.

Swindon were deservedly level eight minutes into the second half when Matt Taylor's free-kick found the head of centre-half Matt Preston to nod home his first goal for the club.

A minute later Cheltenham's Joe Morrell was adjudged to have been brought down by...

Jack Lester's first game as Chesterfield manager ended in defeat as Cheltenham won 2-0 at the Proact Stadium to record their first Sky Bet League Two away victory since February.

Mohamed Eisa scored in each half to see off a Chesterfield side who hardly created a clear chance in the game.

There was a three-minute stoppage early on because a leaking sprinkler left surface water on the pitch and Cheltenham almost put the skids under Chesterfield when Kyle Storer's 12th-minute shot was saved by Tommy...

Second-half goals from Brian Graham, Joe Morrell and Danny Wright earned Cheltenham an impressive 3-0 home win over Mansfield Town.

Former Hibernian striker Graham headed in his first goal for the club six minutes into the second half after a free-kick delivery from Morrell.

And young Bristol City loan midfielder Morrell opened his own scoring account in the 70th minute, curling a shot past Conrad Logan from 25 yards.

Harry Pell hit the post from long range in between the two goals and Daniel O'Shaughnessy...
