Germany coach Joachim Low: Mario Gotze can make the difference for us

Thomas Tuchel believes that the constant talk about whether Mario Gotze plays or not is harmful.

Germany coach Joachim Low has backed Mario Gotze despite his difficulties following last summer's return to Borussia Dortmund from Bayern Munich.

Gotze, 24, has struggled to find form and has played only 24 minutes in 2017, also suffering muscular problems.

But Low stressed that he would continue to call the midfielder up for Germany and told kicker: "Mario can make the difference."

Borussia Dortmund's Hans-Joachim Watzke sent RB Leipzig death threats

Thomas Tuchel describes the strange atmosphere Dortmund endured in their win over Wolfsburg without their loudest fans.

Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke says he has received death threats from RB Leipzig supporters.

Dortmund and Leipzig played out a troubled Bundesliga match earlier this month with fans clashing before kickoff and BVB supporters holding up offensive banners at the game.

Dortmund, who won the clash 1-0, were punished for their involvement with a €100,000 fine and had to close their south stand for Saturday's 3-0 victory over Wolfsburg.
