Javier Hernandez eager to return to action in two weeks

While Chicharito has fit in quite well at Bayer Leverkusen, is it possible he seeks a move away from the Bundesliga side?

Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez has confirmed he will return to action in two weeks after breaking his hand.

The Mexico international fell down the stairs in his home last week, but said on Twitter that the surgery was "perfect."

"Thank God the surgery went perfect," Hernandez said. "Now I have to work hard so that in approximately two weeks I can be back on the field, which I am desperate for!"

Tottenham Hotspur are the latest club to express an interest in Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, according to the player's agent.

Calhanoglu, 22, has been linked with a host of European clubs over the past 12 months and earlier this week his representative, Bektas Demirtas, claimed Atletico Madrid are interested but added "there is nothing concrete" from the Spanish side.

Bayer Leverkusen have signed Aleksandar Dragovic from Dynamo Kiev.

Bayer Leverkusen have announced the signing of Austria defender Aleksandar Dragovic from Dynamo Kiev.

The 25-year-old has penned a five-year contract with the Bundesliga club and said he is looking forward to making the step up in class.
