Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp says he is ``suitably optimistic'' heading into what are set to be the most difficult four months of his coaching career.

Bayern Munich gap will never be closed, Leverkusen's Rudi Voller says

ESPN FC's Shaka Hislop gives his football power rankings where Bayern Munich remain first, Real Madrid and Chelsea rounding out the top three, and Southampton have once again broken into the top 10.

Tin Jedvaj impressed enough during his Bayer Leverkusen loan to earn a permanent deal.

Bayer Leverkusen have completed the permanent signing of Tin Jedvaj from Serie A side Roma.

The 19-year-old joined the Bundesliga club on loan at the start of the season and he has impressed enough during the first half of the season to convince the club to make a bid to Roma for the Croatia international to join them permanently.

That bid, as yet undisclosed, has been accepted.

"We're happy and very satisfied that, after fair negotiations with AS Roma, we have been able to tie Tin Jedvaj down to...

Leverkusen coy over Soldado to replace Drmic reports

Josip Drmic scored 17 Bundesliga goals for Nurnberg last season.

Bayer Leverkusen squad manager Jonas Boldt has neither confirmed nor denied rumours that Tottenham Hotspur's Roberto Soldado is being lined up as a replacement for Josip Drmic.

Drmic signed for Leverkusen from Nurnberg last summer but has struggled for form since the switch, playing 292 Bundesliga minutes and scoring three goals.
