Diego Simeone believes Antoine Griezmann deserved to be named UEFA's Best Player in Europe ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Diego Simeone has called for patience after Atletico Madrid drew their second straight match of the new La Liga campaign, 0-0 away at newly-promoted Leganes.

After dropping points in a 1-1 draw at home against Alaves in the first week of the season, Los Rojiblancos once again failed to fire against relegation-favourites Leganes.
