ESPN FC's Mark Donaldson and Alejandro Moreno assess the UEL draw, headlined by Group A.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho insists he's pleased his side have been handed a tough Europa League draw.

Roma captain Daniele De Rossi led the charge with a foolish 38th-minute straight red card as Roma two-footed their first leg advantage from the Champions League playoff with Porto straight into the Stadio Olimpico showers, where they were promptly flushed into the sewer.

Having conceded an appallingly soft goal in the seventh minute when Felipe was given a free header six yards out from Otavio's deep free kick, Roma came back at Porto only for De Rossi to fly into Maxi Pereira's shins. Emerson repeated...

Roma boss Luciano Spalletti calls team 'naive' for red cards in UCL exit

FC's Gab Marcotti breaks down the lack of Italian teams succeeding in the UCL, citing Roma's abysmal match against FC Porto.

Roma manager Luciano Spalletti said he "can't understand why" his side picked up so many "naive" red cards as they crashed out of the Champions League on Tuesday.

Thomas Vermaelen was unavailable for the second leg against Porto after being sent off in Portugal, and Daniele De Rossi and Emerson Palmieri also saw red in the return leg as Roma fell 3-0 and 4-1 on aggregate.

Neither player could have any real complaint after clumsy tackles, and Spalletti was at a loss to explain them.

"What happened...
