Arsenal must end Premier League season on a high as Wembley awaits

Arsenal's ten match Premier League unbeaten run came to an end as Bafetembi Gomis' lone goal would propel Swansea City past Arsenal 1-0.
Bafetimbi Gomis scored a late goal against the run of play, as Swansea City surprised Arsenal 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE: Lukasz Fabianski (78') Arsenal 0-0 Swansea City

It has been a strange end to the season for Arsenal. They had appeared to be roaring towards a triumphant finale, fighting back from the mire of mid-table to flirt briefly with the possibility of a title challenge -- or at least second place!

However, their league campaign now seems poised to finish on a diminuendo, with the Gunners failing to score in each of their last three home games. It is vital they arrest that slide in their final game against West Brom. With an FA Cup final against Aston...

Tired Arsenal need Theo Walcott's freshness amid goal-scoring slump

The ESPN FC panel discuss potential Arsenal players who may be sold in order to make room for new recruits at the Emirates.

It's fairly clear that all is not well between Arsenal and Theo Walcott. The contract situation on the horizon means a decision by at least one party will have to be made this summer.

It's rare that a player with 12 months left on his deal stays unless new terms are agreed. Tomas Rosicky extends Arsenal contract by one year

The ESPN FC panel discuss potential Arsenal players who may be sold in order to make room for new recruits at the Emirates.

Tomas Rosicky is set to stay at Arsenal next season, manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed.

Rosicky, 34, has been on the fringes of the Gunners squad this term, making only five starts in the Premier League.

However, Wenger has insisted the Czech Republic international remains integral to his plans for the 2015-16 campaign.

Asked if he expected Rosicky -- who had been linked with former side Sparta Prague -- to stay at the club, the Frenchman replied: "Yes."

Wenger added: "We have taken up the option...

Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez hails Premier League competitiveness over La Liga

For Alexis Sanchez, the Premier League's charm is the likelihood of small clubs picking off the giants.

Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez has joined Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho in suggesting the competitive nature of the Premier League means it offers a far greater challenge that Spain's La Liga.

Mourinho claimed earlier this week that Barcelona and Real Madrid would struggle to dominate England's top flight teams in the same manner they do in their domestic championship, as he argued the strength in depth of the Premier League was a step ahead of the Spanish league.

Now Sanchez has echoed those sentiments,...
