Goalkeeper James Shea looks set to return to the AFC Wimbledon team on Sunday when they host Oldham.

Shea, back in the matchday squad as an unused substitute for the 3-0 loss at Bradford last weekend, has shrugged off the illness that had been keeping him sidelined.

Forward Tom Elliott, who has been out with a hamstring injury, will be assessed ahead of the game.

The same applies to defender Jon Meades after he was substituted in the first half of the Bradford match.

Chelsea hand trial to AFC Wimbledon youngster Toyosi Olusanya - sources

The FC panel discuss whether or not Chelsea will slip up before season's end after edging one step closer to the title.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte says he never had any doubts that Diego Costa would break his scoring drought.

Chelsea have taken winger Toyosi Olusanya on trial from League One side AFC Wimbledon, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.

Olusanya, who has been compared to Manchester City and England winger Raheem Sterling due to his style of play, has caught the eye of clubs higher up the football pyramid with his performances for Wimbledon's Development Squad.

The 19-year-old has yet to feature for the first team this season, but he scored on his senior debut at the end of last term with the winning...

AFC Wimbledon and Peterborough United's match at Kingsmeadow had all the hallmarks of a pre-season game as they played out a dour 0-0 draw.

With the Dons lying 13th and Posh 11th in League One, both sides granted opportunities to youngsters as the end of the season approached.

Right-back Toby Sibbick made his debut for the Londoners while left-back Lewis Freestone played in his second successive game for the visitors.

The result leaves the two sides comfortably locked in mid-table with Bradford upcoming...

Swindon's League One survival hopes took a blow after they were held to a goalless draw against Wimbledon.

However, the Robins extended their unbeaten run to four games as they look to fight their way out of the relegation zone.

Wimbledon's Tom Soares could have seen red in the 24th minute after his high boot forced John Goddard off the pitch with blood pouring from his head.

The Dons should have taken the lead in the 30th minute when Tyrone Barnett was gifted a chance but he scuffed his effort into...
