AFC Wimbledon will still be without Harry Pell and Jack Smith when they host leaders Burton.

Midfielder Pell completes a three-match ban for his red card against Southend a fortnight ago and full-back Smith is two weeks away from a return after a knee injury.

Boss Neal Ardley will check on veteran defender Andy Frampton, who was not risked at Accrington at the weekend despite coming through a reserve game last week following a broken ankle.

James Gray scored an 83rd minute winner to secure a 1-0 victory for managerless Accrington over AFC Wimbledon.

James Beattie left the Store First Stadium by mutual consent in a shock move on Friday and his assistant Paul Stephenson took charge for the match.

It was a dour encounter but striker Gray produced the bit of magic for the Reds to chalk up their second successive win.

Adam Buxton barged through two defenders into the area and passed to Gray who slotted the ball into the bottom corner of the...

Substitute Adebayo Azeez snatched an equaliser deep into stoppage time to enable AFC Wimbledon to grab a 4-4 draw against 10-man Carlisle in a thriller at Brunton Park.

The Dons had twice led through Sean Rigg and Matt Tubbs, but Kyle Dempsey pegged them back on each occasion with a first-half brace. Josh Gillies and Brad Potts were then on target for Carlisle, who had Gary Dicker sent off, before the visitors salvaged a point.

AFC Wimbledon's fourth-minute opener came gift wrapped when defender David...

Matt Tubbs held his nerve from the penalty spot as AFC Wimbledon reached the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with a shoot-out victory over Southend following a 2-2 draw at Kingsmeadow.

Substitute Tubbs scored the decisive kick to maintain a perfect record for the hosts in the shoot-out after Southend's Lee Barnard struck a post and Dons goalkeeper James Shea saved Ben Coker's spot-kick.

Wimbledon had twice pegged back their opponents with Kevin Sainte-Luce and then Adam Barrett's goal...

A debut goal from Cameron Lancaster earned Stevenage their first away win of the season as they won 3-2 at AFC Wimbledon.

The home side had taken the lead when Matt Tubbs slid the ball home from eight yards out in the 34th minute, following great work from Kevin Sainte-Luce on the right.

Stevenage struck back just before half time when Dons goakeeper James Shea could only tip a fine Simon Walton free-kick onto the bar and Dean Wells was there to head in the rebound.

The visitors started the second half...
