Cheltenham ended their 16-year stay in the Football League with a 1-1 draw at AFC Wimbledon.

Durrell Berry opened the scoring midway through the first half with a well-taken finish, before AFC Wimbledon's Jack Smith levelled shortly before half-time.

The Dons had the better of the second half, but Cheltenham goalkeeper Trevor Carson stood firm.

AFC Wimbledon started well and should have opened the scoring in the 20th minute through midfielder Alfie Potter, but he fired straight at Carson after a fine...

Bury kept alive their hopes of automatic promotion from League Two with a 2-0 home win against AFC Wimbledon.

Tom Soares headed the Shakers into a 33rd-minute header, although the Dons had chances of their own.

The visitors continued to threaten after the break so a 77th-minute strike by substitute Ryan Lowe was welcome for fourth-placed Bury.

That kept the Shakers two points off the top three heading into next week's final game.

Ten-man Wycombe's automatic promotion hopes took a blow as they were held to a 0-0 draw at AFC Wimbledon.

The best chance of the first half came in the 17th minute when a cross from Sean Rigg on the left wing found Adebayo Akinfenwa, but his header six yards from goal came back off a post.

The Dons striker went close again shortly afterwards with another headed effort which sailed wide.

Just before the break Akinfenwa played the ball over the top to Adebayo Azeez but Matt Ingram rushed off his line...

Plymouth stayed on course for the League Two play-offs following a 1-1 home draw with Wimbledon.

Anthony O'Connor scored a 54th-minute opener from Bobby Reid's corner seconds after James Shea had made a brilliant fingertip stop to deny Lewis Alessandra.

O'Connor tapped in at the far post as Reid's corner landed at the Irishman's feet.

Ade Azeez replied from close range in the 63rd minute after keeper Luke McCormick saved substitute Craig Tanner's initial shot.

Sean Rigg saw a late header ruled out for offside as hosts AFC Wimbledon drew 0-0 with Oxford at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

In a game of few chances Oxford goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown acrobatically kept out a Rigg volley on the half hour.

After the break neither side created any meaningful chances, Rigg denied a winner by the offside flag in the 86th minute meaning the home side have now gone four games without a win.

Danny Hylton went close for the visitors after just three minutes but from then...
