McGree returns to Adelaide from Club Brugge

If all the transfers fall into place for Barcelona, will they be able to play Messi, Suarez, Griezmann and Neymar all at the same time?
ESPN FC's Steve Nicol examines Manchester United's transfer needs and explains why their summer dealings will all hinge on Paul Pogba.

Adelaide United have purchased South Australian-born midfielder Riley McGree from Belgian powerhouse Club Brugge.

McGree had spent the past 18 months in the A-League on loan, initially at Newcastle and last season at Melbourne City.

The 20-year-old made his A-League debut for Adelaide before signing in July 2017 with Brugge, where he didn't play a senior game.

Adelaide bought McGree for an undisclosed sum and he has inked a three-contract with the Reds.

FFA Cup: Fowler to make coaching debut vs. Sydney FC

New Melbourne City coach Erick Mombaerts says he will bring an attractive style of play to the club.

The first competitive match of Robbie Fowler's Brisbane Roar reign will be an FFA Cup clash away at A-League champions Sydney FC.

The Liverpool legend, who is embarking on the first full-time head coaching role of his storied career, will take the Roar to face Steve Corica's Sky Blues in a round-of-32 clash after the pair were drawn together on Wednesday.

It will be Fowler's first big challenge at the helm of the new-look Roar who have shipped out 16 players following their disastrous 2018-19 A-League...

Goalkeeper Liam Reddy heroically saved Perth Glory from a major scare to beat Adelaide 5-4 in a penalty shootout in an A-League semifinal for the ages.

Glory looked to have the game in the bag when Diego Castro's second goal in the 74th minute gave the home side a 2-0 advantage at HBF Park on Friday night.

Substitute Papa Diawara gave Adelaide a flicker of hope when he made the most of a goal-mouth scrap to score in the 81st minute.

And with just six seconds left in the fourth and final minute of...
