Feng Xiaoting returns for Guangzhou Evergrande ahead of CFA Cup final

China international defender Feng Xiaoting will return for Guangzhou Evergrande as Luiz Felipe Scolari's side attempt to complete the double on Sunday with a victory over Jiangsu Suning in the second leg of the CFA Cup final.

Last week's meeting between the teams in Guangzhou ended in a 1-1 draw, handing Jiangsu a slender advantage ahead of the return in Nanjing, and the Brazilian World Cup winner believes his team faces a tough challenge if they want to claim a second double in five years.

"Feng Xiaoting is back in the squad, but our style of play won't change," said Scolari. "Jiangsu made their way here not only because of their three foreign players, but because of great teamwork. They have good players in every position. If we want to win, we have to be better at each position, rather than just marking their foreign players.

"It will be a very difficult match for sure, but challenges always bring out the best of our potential and I'm really looking forward to it."

Guangzhou lost on their last visit to Nanjing, slipping up 2-0 in the Chinese Super League in late October, but the defeat did not derail Evergrande as the club went on to claim a record extending sixth Chinese Super League title.

And Scolari is adamant Jiangsu will not pick up another victory against his side on Sunday.

"Last time we were here we were able to lose the game, but we won't allow it tomorrow," he said. "I don't know what of kind of welcome Jiangsu will give us, but I believe in my players and I have no doubt that we will win the title here."

Scolari's opposite number, Choi Yong-Soo, is aiming to win his first trophy with Jiangsu since joining the club in the summer from South Korea's FC Seoul and the former striker is confident Jiangsu can retain the cup they won last season.

"I believe our team has the quality to win and we deserve the championship," he said. "We are the underdog facing the best team and the best coach of Chinese Super League, but I believe we can bring the trophy to our fans.

"We have a better home record but I don't think we have any advantage from the first leg. Our opponent has a great away record. We won't be too conservative or just want to draw and we hope to finish it within 90 minutes.

"Evergrande is a team with six successive league titles with experienced players. But it is not only about confidence, it is also about in-game performance. We won't be intimated by them, and will fight till the end."
