Former Chelsea midfielder Ramires has been banned for four games after charging at the referee following his sending off for Jiangsu Suning last week.
Ramires, 29, was involved in a postmatch row between the players after Jiangsu's 2-1 defeat to Shandong Luneng and had to be held back by players and coaching staff as he attempted to run towards the match official after getting a red card.
The Chinese Football Association (CFA) announced that his automatic three-match ban would be extended by an extra game, while the midfielder was also fined RMB 20,000 (€2685).
Jiangsu are 10 points adrift of Chinese Super League leaders Guangzhou Evergrande.
