Chelsea's Eden Hazard hopes Antonio Conte can make him world's best

Eden Hazard has hailed Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte as a man who "wants to win everything" and says he hopes the Italian can help him become the best player in the world.

Conte has lost just one of his first seven competitive matches in charge of the Blues as he attempts to revive the club's fortunes after the worst season of the Roman Abramovich era, and the improved form of Diego Costa and Hazard has played a key role in the Italian's promising start to life at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard has looked closer in quality to the man who claimed the FWA and PFA Player of the Year awards as Chelsea surged to the Premier League title in the 2014-15 season, scoring two goals in his first five appearances this term, and said Conte has made a positive impression.

"He's a winner, he likes to win," Hazard said of Conte in an interview with BT Sport. "He wants to win everything. Sometimes he's a little bit crazy on the bench but you know he's always like this. He's a top manager and I hope we can win some trophies with him."

Asked if he thinks Conte can improve him, Hazard replied: "I hope [so]. I try to reach the level I can reach, to be the best player, and I hope he can help me to be this guy. A lot of people talk about whether I can be the best player in the world. I hope I can, and I hope Antonio can help me to do this."

Chelsea take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday hoping to rebound from a home defeat to Liverpool on their last Premier League outing, but will have to do so without captain John Terry after the 35-year-old suffered a "small setback" in his recovery from strained ankle ligaments.
