Diego Costa hamstring injury could see him miss Chelsea trip to Arsenal

Diego Costa faces a race against time to be fit for Chelsea's meeting with Arsenal, according to reports.

Costa, 26, came on as a second-half substitute in Chelsea' 2-1 win over Stoke on Saturday but lasted just 12 minutes before having to be replaced after suffering a hamstring injury.

The Spain international's season has been disrupted by hamstring troubles, although he has still scored 19 goals in 24 Premier League appearances for the Blues.

Costa is set to be sidelined for around a fortnight, meaning he will miss the matches against QPR and Manchester United, while he is a doubt for the trip to Arsenal on April 26.

The Daily Telegraph reports Costa is "desperate" to be available for the game against the Gunners, as Chelsea look to wrap up their first Premier League title since 2010.

But the striker could have an extended period on the sidelines, with the Daily Mail reporting he is expected to see a specialist about the issue.
