Everton will face Manchester City and Stoke City will take on Liverpool in the final four of the Capital One Cup.
Everton, the only side left in the competition not to lift the trophy, will entertain Manuel Pellegrini's team at Goodison Park in the first week of January before heading to the Etihad three weeks later.
Both teams overcame Championship opposition to reach the semifinal, Everton winning 2-0 at Middlesbrough and City overcoming Hull 4-1.
The other semi sees Liverpool, who have won the competition a record eight times, first face a trip to the Britannia Stadium before welcoming Mark Hughes' team to Anfield.
Stoke, who won the League Cup in 1972, beat Sheffield Wednesday in the quarterfinals while Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool stunned Southampton by coming from behind to win 6-1 at St Mary's
