Tottenham give two fans lifetime bans for throwing urine at West Ham fans

Tottenham have handed lifetime bans to two supporters for their involvement in throwing a cup of urine at West Ham fans during the Carabao Cup defeat at Wembley.

Social media footage emerged of one person passing urine into a plastic glass before the other threw it towards the travelling supporters at the national stadium.

Spurs investigated the incident and, after identifying the individuals concerned, have now issued lifetime bans to both men

The immense struggle that Wolves put up at the Etihad in Manchester City's midweek League Cup tie will have taught Pep Guardiola some worthwhile lessons as he prepares to take his so-far all-conquering City side to the Hawthorns this weekend.

The Championship side, ably guided by talented coach Nuno Espirito Santo, took City right to the wire, forcing extra time and penalties before succumbing.

Fifth-round draw delay plunges Carabao Cup deeper into farce

Stevie Nicol says a similar situation to Pep's Mitre ball complaints arose when MLS changed balls for the MLS Cup final.

Just as with almost every round to date, the draw for the fifth round of the Carabao Cup has been the subject of self-inflicted ridicule.

The nonsense began a day or two beforehand when the EFL announced that Matt Dawson (ex-England rugby player) and Phil Tufnell (ex-England cricketer) had been drafted in to perform the draw for England's secondary football cup competition.

Cometh the big day, and cometh the big debacle, with Carabao forced to delay the draw multiple times after the event...

Tottenham must bounce back from West Ham loss vs. Utd - Alderweireld

LONDON -- Toby Alderweireld described Tottenham's 3-2 Carabao Cup defeat to West Ham as a "reality check," but says the players must pick themselves up quickly ahead of their trip to Manchester United on Saturday.

Spurs had one foot in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals after goals from Moussa Sissoko and Dele Alli gave them a commanding 2-0 lead at half-time over West Ham on Wednesday. But a quick-fire double from Andre Ayew and Angelo Ogbonna's headed winner competed the turnaround for the visitors...

West Ham fan takes tumble tries to catch Mark Noble's shirt ahead of kid

There was a little instant karma on display in the Carabao Cup last night, in the immediate aftermath of West Ham's impressive 3-2 victory over Tottenham at Wembley.

In celebrating his side's fine win, Hammers captain Mark Noble made his way over to the away fans and, spotting a young fan applauding in the front row, attempted to throw his shirt to the child.

It was at this point that the adult supporter one seat down pounced in an attempt to intercept Noble's shirt from reaching its intended target.

Thankfully,...
