Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have again made the shortlist for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) player of the year award, the second year running the trio have battled it out for the prestigious prize.

Raja Casablanca striker Soufiane Rahimi scored twice as the Moroccan side seized control of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup final with a 3-0 first-leg win over 10-man AS Vita Club at the Stade Mohammed V on Sunday.

Moroccan side Raja Casablanca and AS Vita Club from the DR Congo will contest the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup final after comprehensive semifinal victories sealed their berth.
