Sean Dyche does not care if Burnley end the season without an away win, provided they have enough points on the board. The Clarets have proved formidable opponents at Turf Moor, where they have picked up 32 points, but timid travellers. From a possible 48 points on the road, they have collected just four and are yet to win in 16 attempts. They will try to end that sorry sequence at Everton on Saturday but Dyche is not attaching undue prominence to the record in a season which has seen them defy expectations to sit on the cusp of safety. Asked if the statistic would bother him, should it continue at Goodison Park, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth, he said: "No, because the key in the Premier League is getting points on the table, that is the number one. "Wherever they come from is acceptable at the end, when you're reflecting and looking back. No one will care. It will get mentioned once in awhile. "That's why I don't overthink it. It's points on the board. Get as many points on the board as you can, finish the season, then ask 'right, did we do our jobs?'.'' Of the six sides in the Premier League who have finished the season winless away, only Leeds in 1992-93 and Coventry in 1999-2000 have avoided the drop, but Dyche is not worried about becoming a subject of pub trivia. "There's two clubs who have stayed in the division and finished without ever winning away...well, I wouldn't have known that if someone hadn't told me -- because no one really bothers,'' he said. "They bother with the outcome. It's a story along the journey and I totally understand it and respect it, but it's the outcome that counts. "Of course I'll be aware, and we've got to push it forward, because we can't just rely on what we're doing at home forever, we know that.''
