Anderson Talisca replaces injured Lucas Moura in Brazil squad

SAO PAULO -- The Brazilian football confederation says Benfica midfielder Anderson Talisca has been called up to replace Paris Saint-Germain forward Lucas Moura for Brazil's friendlies against Turkey and Austria this month.

The confederation says Lucas was dropped from the squad because of a right-foot injury sustained in the French league this weekend.

Lucas was returning to the national team for the first time since being left out of the World Cup squad this year.

Brazil will play Turkey on Wednesday in Istanbul, and Austria in Vienna on Nov. 18.

Coach Dunga last week called up Shakthar Donetsk midfielder Fred to replace Spartak Moscow midfielder Romulo, who also was injured.
