Neymar my role model and favourite player - Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho has told Bild that Paris Saint-Germain's Brazil attacker Neymar is his idol, adding that he finds it "unbelievable" to play in front of Borussia Dortmund's "Yellow Wall."

Sancho, 18, became the youngest English player to score in the Bundesliga as Dortmund beat Bayer Leverkusen 4-0 at the weekend.

And the former Manchester City player, who also had a hand in two other goals, said he was trying to learn from the PSG star.

"Sure, I do like [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo, but my favourite player and role model is Neymar," he said.

"He plays his opponents dizzy at the highest pace, and he is incredibly dangerous in front of goal."

Sancho said he had been drawn to Dortmund by the prospect of playing at the Westfalenstadion, Germany's largest stadium.

"On TV, I saw [Robert] Lewandowski and [Henrikh] Mkhitarayn play in front of the 'Yellow Wall,' he said.

"Now I can play for those 25,000 people [on Europe's biggest terrace], and I have also scored my first goal. It's unbelievable."

Sancho credited Mario Gotze with helping him settle in at Dortmund, adding: "He's always there for me. Mario is like a brother to me."

Meanwhile, midfielder Shinji Kagawa returned to training on Tuesday and could be an option for the match at Werder Bremen on Sunday.

Dortmund are third in the Bundesliga with three games to play.
