Christian Pulisic excited to work with Bosz: 'I think he's very attack-minded'

COMMERCE CITY, Colorado -- Borussia Dortmund and United States midfielder Christian Pulisic says he's "excited" to begin working with Dortmund manager Peter Bosz.

Bosz was hired on Tuesday by Dortmund to replace Thomas Tuchel, who parted ways with BVB after two seasons in charge. Pulisic said he has yet to speak with Bosz, but added he likes what he sees of the Dutchman's approach.

"I think he's very attack-minded," said Pulisic about Bosz. "I watched his teams with Ajax, and he was really good, so I'm excited."

Earlier in the week, Pulisic expressed his gratitude towards Tuchel, given that the now-former Dortmund manager gave him his debut in the first team.

"I'm just very thankful for everything [Tuchel] did for me," said Pulisic. "It's tough in professional sports when a coach has to go like this, especially after a pretty good season. But we're excited to see who we get and I think the team will be just fine."

Pulisic is currently with the U.S. national team as it prepares for two World Cup qualifiers against Trinidad & Tobago on Thursday, and then away to Mexico three days later.
