Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel has fallen out with the scout who identified signings including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Shinji Kagawa, according to multiple reports in Germany.
Tuchel is said to have fallen out with chief scout Sven Mislintat in January after Dortmund's move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Oliver Torres collapsed shortly before its completion.
Ruhr Nachrichten, kicker and Bild all said this week that Mislintat has not returned to the club's training facilities on Adi-Preissler-Allee since that time, and only works from his office near the club's Westfalenstadion, where he reports directly to sporting director Michael Zorc.
The reports claim Tuchel is also no longer relying on Mislintat's participation during the half-time video analysis.
However, kicker said that the Dortmund hierarchy want to promote the scout, who arrived at Dortmund in 2009, to head of professional football.
Mislintat is under contract until 2019 after renewing his deal in October last year, when he had been linked with a role at Hannover, and Bundesliga strugglers Hamburg are currently being credited with an interest.
