Borussia Dortmund's Aubameyang could miss Real Madrid clash in UCL

Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a doubt for the Champions League clash at home to Real Madrid on Tuesday.

Aubameyang, 27, picked up a knock in the 3-1 win over Freiburg on Friday, in which he took his season's tally to five goals in four Bundesliga games to mark his 100th league match for the club.

However, the Gabon international hurt his foot in the second half, and BVB sporting director Michael Zorc told Bild: "Auba took a painful knock against Freiburg. But he wants to play [against Madrid] by any means."

Aubameyang, meanwhile, told the club's official TV channel that it's "not that bad," and on Saturday the club said on Twitter that he was expected back in training after missing a session as a "precautionary measure."

On Monday morning, Aubameyang joined defender Marc Bartra and attacker Adrian Ramos in training, while Andre Schurrle is closing in on his return following ligament problems.
