Marco Reus unhappy with his form since Borussia Dortmund return

Borussia Dortmund attacker Marco Reus has said he has not been happy with his performances since coming back from injury.

Reus, 26, broke his toe at the end of August but despite returning to the starting lineup on Sept. 23, he was only used as a second-half substitute in the defeat against Bayern.

"I was out for three weeks, couldn't put any weight on the foot, and could only do a little upper body work," he told the DFB's official website.

"Then you simply need time to get your rhythm back. And to be honest, the games I have played since then have not been up to what I expect of myself."

The Germany international says he is a hard worker, however, and that that hard work will soon see him back to his best form.

"In football things can go quickly," he said. "A goal, a move that comes off -- and then everything can immediately click back into place.

"I know myself that I'm not quite where I want to be yet. But I also know that that this will change quickly."
