Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus in contention for Frankfurt comeback

Marco Reus could return for Borussia Dortmund as they look to continue their late push for Europa League qualification against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.

Germany international Reus, 25, has missed his side's last two Bundesliga games with adductor problems but will be in contention against Frankfurt "if he is 100 percent fit," coach Jurgen Klopp said.

He returned to training on Wednesday, and Dortmund's official website quoted Klopp as saying: "Should he not make it on Saturday, it would be nice if we see him on Tuesday [at Bayern Munich in the DFB-Pokal]."

The BVB coach, who announced earlier this month that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season, has overseen an upturn in fortunes since defeat to Augsburg in February left them at the foot of the Bundesliga.

They are now ninth and need to finish the campaign two places higher in order to bring Europa League football to the Westfalenstadion next season.

"We have two opportunities to have a rather conciliatory end of season," Klopp said as he looked ahead to the remainder of the league and cup campaign.

"The lads are on the right track. They want to leave their mark on the end of this season. They are focused, they are concentrating, but we would be crazy to bet everything on the cup.

"To finish seventh after hitting rock bottom wouldn't be that bad. But that's not interesting right now. The Frankfurt match is the most important of them all, and we are only focused on that."

Meanwhile, news agency Bloomberg reported that BVB are insured against Champions League revenue losses.

Dortmund, the only Bundesliga club listed on the stock market, were knocked out of this season's competition by Juventus.

They are reported to be in the third year of an insurance contract, with only three executives aware of a policy that allegedly included a clause for the underwriters to cancel "if Klopp or three of Dortmund's top players had left the team during the year."
