Borussia Dortmund trained in Turin on Monday as they prepared to take on Juventus in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round-of-16 contest on Tuesday. (1:02)

Borussia Dortmund midfielders Sebastian Kehl and Sven Bender are back in the squad for the first time in 2015 as the club prepare to face Juventus in the first leg of their round of 16 Champions League clash.

But Jurgen Klopp's side, boosted by a run of three successive Bundesliga wins, could be without Slovenian midfielder Kevin Kampl, who has an illness, in Italy.

The tie is a rematch of the 1997 Champions League final, won by Dortmund -- and Karl-Heinz Riedle, one of the club's heroes that year, has said he thinks they will go through.

"Over two legs, I believe that Dortmund will progress. I am confident," Riedle, who scored twice in that 3-1 victory, was quoted as saying by Der Westen. "But the foundation has to be laid in Italy.

"When they get on a roll, and a lot points to that right now, every team will find it difficult to stop them. Maybe it only needs that one thing to click, and you can't always explain how that works."

Dortmund attacker Marco Reus told kicker on Monday that he felt BVB had a "50/50 chance" of progressing.
