Klopp: Dortmund can't afford to relax (1:41)

His side have just claimed back-to-back Bundesliga wins for the first time since September. (1:41)

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has said he does not want to talk about reports that he is poised to sign a new deal, but added that news Marco Reus had committed his future to the club had left the players "euphoric."

Gundogan, 24, is slowly returning to the form that sparked interest from Manchester United and Arsenal.

The Germany international only returned to the Dortmund squad in October after 14 months on the sidelines with back problems.

Since coming back, he has made 16 appearances and scored two goals, with his latest helping BVB to a crucial 3-2 win at bottom club Stuttgart on Friday.

Gundogan is under contract until 2016. Dortmund are keen to tie him to a new deal, but will not allow him to go into next season with only one year left on his contract.

They hope to convince him to sign when contract talks take place following the Champions League match at Juventus on Tuesday, Bild reported.

"I don't what to say anything about it," the paper reported him as saying, adding that "things are looking good" also because of the Reus deal. "Marco's signature has made us all euphoric," Gundogan said.
