Transfer Rater: Arda Turan to Chelsea, Santi Cazorla to Fenerbahce

The latest transfer rumours from around the world.
The latest transfer rumours from around the world.

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for the latest gossip.

Dominic Solanke to Liverpool

Young Chelsea striker Solanke will make the switch to Liverpool this summer, The Sun is reporting.

The 19-year-old's contract expires at the end of this season, and he is thought to have told friends he is ready to make the move to Anfield. However, the Reds will have to pay up to £8 million in compensation for the player's services as his fee will have to go to a tribunal.

Solanke spent last season on loan with Vitesse Arnhem, scoring seven goals in 25 league appearances, while he has also represented England at Under-21 level.

Arda Turan to Chelsea

Reports are suggesting that Chelsea are looking to bolster their attacking options with the signing of Barcelona forward Turan.

The 30-year-old has fuelled speculation by reportedly buying a house close to Stamford Bridge, according to The Daily Star.

Turan has made 23 appearances for the Catalan giants this season, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists. Should the Turkey international make the switch to west London, he will be linking back up with former Atletico Madrid teammates Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois.

Santi Cazorla to Fenerbahce

Dick Advocaat is looking to add creativity to his Fenerbahce squad in the summer and is eyeing a move for Arsenal's 32-year-old playmaker Cazorla, according to Turkish-Football.

Cazorla hasn't made an appearance for the Gunners since October due to an Achilles' injury, and his current deal ends at the end of the campaign, although the club have an option to extend it for another year.

Ross Barkley to Manchester United

Manchester United are thought to be one of five clubs interested in a summer move for Everton star Barkley. Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham are also keen on the England international, though United are thought to be leading the chase.

The 23-year-old is still considered to be one of English football's brightest young talents, despite perhaps not making as much of an impact as expected following his outstanding debut season in 2013-14.

However, Barkley has been key to the Toffees' improved form this campaign under Ronald Koeman, scoring five and assisting five in 26 appearances.

Nadiem Amiri to Tottenham

Tottenham are interested in Hoffenheim's young midfielder Amiri, according to Calciomercato.

The 20-year-old has scored two and provided four assists from midfield for the Bundesliga side so far this season, and the German's form has caught the eye of Mauricio Pochettino as well as Liverpool and Juventus.

Considering the Spurs manager's propensity for giving youth a chance, the north London club could be the best option for Amiri should he choose to leave.
