Michael Jordan takes in PSG match, presented with No. 23 jersey
Neymar had superstar competition at Parc des Princes on Wednesday as basketball legend Michael Jordan watched Paris Saint-Germain against Reims in Ligue 1.
The French champions paired up with Nike's Jordan-inspired Jumpman range of clothing recently and although the American was not present for the launch, he wasted little time in getting to Paris for the Ryder Cup.
Jordan, 55, was presented with one of PSG's new shirts by chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the former player, widely considered the greatest basketball player of all time, had his name and iconic No. 23 printed on the item.
As the Ligue 1 giants pointed out via Twitter, Jordan came up against PSG's basketball side in 1997 and finished as the game's high scorer with 28 points as the Chicago Bulls ran out 89-82 winners.
