Rangers manager, Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard watches David Guetta in Ibiza

Mere days after officially starting his new job as Glasgow Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard rewarded himself with a holiday.

After being sworn in at Ibrox on Friday of last week, Gerrard flew straight out to Ibiza where, on Monday, he spent the evening taking in a performance from superstar DJ David Guetta.

There's no accounting for taste, we suppose.

Had the best night 🤩❤️ @alex_gerrard8 ❤️ wow I feel rufffff 😷🙈❤️

Guetta 👌

Guetta is just beginning a summer residency at the Ushuaia Beach Hotel, where Gerrard is staying with Burnley defender Phil Bardsley and their respective partners.

The ex-Liverpool stalwart has a week of freedom left before Rangers report back for preseason training on June 15, roughly one month ahead of his first competitive game in charge -- a Europa League qualifying fixture on July 12.

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
