LAFC co-owner Will Ferrell uses James Corden for target practice
Los Angeles FC have got off to an impressive start to life as Major League Soccer's newest franchise, currently sitting second in the Western Conference with seven matches played.
With the club still keen to increase their following, one of LAFC's gaggle of celebrity co-owners, Will Ferrell, appeared on "The Late, Late Show with James Corden" to chat about his experience thus far.
As it turns out, Ferrell's role at LAFC would appear to largely extend to bathroom maintenance duties.
Ferrell then had the chance to demonstrate his actual soccer skills in a game of target practice involving host Corden, who was strapped to a rotating wheel for the occasion.
The comedian duly delighted the audience by blasting his first attempt into what can only be described as the host's "pointless zone" before inviting a few friends out to assist him.
LAFC have the chance to move to the top of the table (at least temporarily) this weekend provided they muster a win in their home game against Dallas at the Banc of California Stadium on Saturday evening.
