Thierry Henry's sparkly beard lights up Arsenal's dull defeat at Newcastle

Thierry Henry always sparkled on the pitch. Now he's doing it the TV studio as well.

The former Arsenal striker lit up the Sky Sports coverage of Sunday's Premier League games, although it wasn't his punditry that drew the most attention.

The Frenchman's neatly trimmed beard sparkled like a Christmas tree during the broadcast, and Twitter was quick to take notice.

It was about the only bright display from an Arsenal man as the Gunners limped to another sorry away defeat, losing 2-1 at Newcastle despite taking an early lead. It left Arsenal still without a single away point in 2018, the worst such record of any club in England's top four leagues.

Perhaps Henry's mesmerising facial hair was just a way to distract fans from the team's troubles?
