Manchester City and NYCFC announce hook-up with dating app Tinder
Hours after their Champions League humbling at the hands of Liverpool, Manchester City have sought to ease the pain by treating themselves to a brand new "multi-million pound" corporate partnership.
The morning after their embarrassing 3-0 quarterfinal first leg defeat, City -- together with MLS sister club New York City FC -- proudly announced to their fans that the club have agreed a new sponsorship deal with Tinder, the dating app.

"Tinder is a huge global platform which, just like football, is bringing millions of people together every day all around the world," said Tom Glick, chief commercial officer of City Football Group.
Unfortunate timing, considering City's failure to produce anything like a successful match at Anfield.
