Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu covered in snow after rare storm hits
Real Madrid welcomed a different kind of blanco to the Santiago Bernabeu on Monday.
A snowstorm that moved across Madrid covered much of the city in the fluffy white stuff, shutting down a runway at the main airport, cancelling train services and causing delays on the motorways.
The stadium, of course, was not spared, with the club documenting the rare treat on its Twitter account.
The snow seemed to accumulate a bit better at the Ciudad Real Madrid training ground northeast of the city centre, with a few centimetres needing to be cleared away to make the pitches useable.

There's not much Cristiano Ronaldo can't do, but if he summoned a snowstorm to avoid training on his 33rd birthday, he may be more special than we all thought.
